I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were excellent, neat, spacious, and marvelous, although they were right into other rooms which was a bit strange. The service was a bit uncomfortable as the staff gave me a bit of discomfort inspite of generous tips and were not as cooperative or friendly as expected. The location, centrally in Srinagar, was a major plus, close to everything and with a good restaurant. The dining experience was a bit of a letdown being in the basement, with small quantities of food. The facilities were top-notch.
